The movie version of this book just wrapped up filming in British Columbia starring Owen Wilson, Jack Black and Steve Martin. Our store was contacted by Fox Productions who bought a ton of stuff from our web site and asked us to include anything with our logo like shirts, hats, mugs & calendars. We just received Thank You postcards from the movie guys.

The Big Year is a funny tale about three birders who set out on the adventure of a lifetime to see some of the rarest birds in nature in a year. Written by prize winning journalist Mark Obmascik. Paperback.

We saw the movie and loved it. The studio did not promote it very well and it only played for 2 weeks. It will probably be on DVD by Christmas. It is a fun movie, worth checking out.
