The Flipper is fun and functional. Charge up the battery included overnight. When a squirrel puts weight on the perch, he gets flipped off. Squirrels do give up. How often the base needs charging depends on how long squirrels try to get on it. Must be hung beyond the reach of a raccoon who will just lean on the perch and burn the motor out.
