This great feeder is all mesh so finches can land anywhere on the feeder (chickadees like thistle too). The feeder is 14 inches tall with a 5 inch handle.

This feeder has a “Quick Clean Bottom.” Simply squeeze the buttons on the side and the bottom pops right off for a good cleaning.

And a good cleaning is important, wet thistle will turn to sludge and then to cement, and is bad for the birds. Never put new thistle on top of old thistle. And the thistle you bought over the winter, will not be good in the spring.
